an idea for a blog
Imaginary Votes. This idea struck me. Suffrage is denied to foreign nationals in the U.S., hence imaginary for us. Yet the American politics is so vibrant and so idiosyncratic to simply settle as a spectator. Therefore, IV shall be a blog where non-U.S. citizen authors get to comment on American politics and, when appropriate, cast their individual votes to candidates and resolutions. IV shall be where the voiceless voice.
U.S. citizen can also benefit from this blog because it provides an international, non-partisan perspective on issues that affect their everyday lives. At any rate, old Chinese proverb has it: Lookers-on see more than players.
And Einstein once told us, Imagination is more important than knowledge.
